Centered in Boston's historic Back Bay area, this boutique hotel features a state-of-the-art gym, award-winning dining and elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. John Hancock Tower is 5 minutes’ walk away. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcomed. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The gym facility was small but well-equipped and very nicely maintained. The Peloton bikes there were a great touch. Overall, the hotel is a little old, but has been refreshed to have a modern and comfortable feel.

We stayed for Boston Marathon and you couldn't have had a better location!! Even better, the hotel put on an amazing runners breakfast including bagels, porridge and gu gels! Then after the marathon they put on a finishers party which included lots of great food and drinks. The bar downstairs is great, but the restaurant at the top is bad. The staff are rude and the food is poor, but this restaurant is not run by the same owners as the hotel.

Everything about the Langham seemed to us an updated reminder of luxury hotels of decades ago: dignified entrance, very helpful and attentive staff, top quality accommodations. Above all, there was a personal touch about most staff services.
