Just 6 blocks away from former President Obama’s Hyde Park home, Sophy – Hyde Park brings art, science, literature and music together to provide a sophisticated, eclectic atmosphere amidst the culture... It is very close to Uchicago and that is perfect for parents who are visiting children at the university. The hotel itself is very modern, clean and amenities are all there. Staff is wonderful and always willing to help. I recollect many friendly discussions with Sam at the front gate.

This hotel is located within 5 minutes’ drive of the University of Chicago campus N and 11 km south of the Loop. The hotel offers free daily shuttle service between 7am until 7pm. I told front desk I had a had a child with autism and one in a wheelchair so could she put us in a back room. She put us in the best room. Spacious and in the corner where the kids were able to be kids without any complaints. Thank you for that.

I felt safe in the neighborhood. The worst part is that I only stayed 2 days. I hope this property is available for my next visit.
