Just a 5-minute walk from Paramount Pictures, this hotel is 2 miles from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It offers brightly decorated rooms with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The friendliness of the staff was unparalleled. Very accommodating, welcoming, supportive, and so much more. I had nothing but great interactions with the employees. They were highly responsive to every issue I presented them with. And they offered nothing but the best help in return. The location is one of the best. It's about 15-20 minutes drive from everywhere you want to see in Los Angeles -- which is very convenient. Rarely would you find yourself at a lack of areas to explore because the drive is too long. It's everything you can ask for and more for a stay. The hotel lives up to its name of being historic. Everything about it feels like a relic from a lost period of Hollywood. As a fan of ancient cinema, I found this to be quite the scene stealer. If you're a fan of being in a place where it feels like you're resurrected in a Black & White movie, this is it.

Situated on the famous Sunset Boulevard, this hotel is a short drive from many Los Angeles attractions, including Universal Studios Hollywood. Easy access to highway 101 is also available. The front desk guys (unfortunately, I don't know their names, but all three guys are excellent!). And don't forget the cleaner lady also! Unfortunately, I could not do a late checkout because the hotel was sold out, but they let me park my car until night.
