Nothing corporate or institutional about this place; on the contrary, it's just dripping with character and whimsy. Don't miss the lobby bar, cafe, or especially El Quijote, as these are all exceedingly beautiful and luxurious. The staff are largely friendly and accommodating, and the building is well located (a straight 10min walk from Penn Station, close to Greenwich Village, etc.). Pretty crazy that a hotel could tempt me away from exploring Manhattan. I never wanted to leave, and can't wait to return.

Located in Midtown Manhattan, between Bryant Park and the Empire State Building, this hotel offers rooms with iPod docking stations. The suite was very comfortable and felt like home. Great to have a washer and drier plus a full size refrigerator and freezer. We used them. Central location on 5th meant we could walk to virtually everything.

This boutique Manhattan hotel is located in the Theater District and steps from Times Square. The hotel offers a daily continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi and 24-hour access to refreshments. Liked everything - the location, the room, the snacks and especially so welcoming staff who made us feel as home.
