A neat and tidy room with a comfortable bed, bathroom and ample space to store my things. Toiletries were provided and topped up daily. All staff were super friendly and were patient and helpful towards me during a card issue on check in, and immediately swapped my room when I had an AC/heater issue. The hotel is within walking distance to Logan Circle, DuPont and Shaw. Downtown is about a 45 minute walk, a pleasant straight walk with lots of cafes to stop at along the way. The area felt safe to walk around during the day on my own. I didn’t use the hotel’s facilities as the surrounding area has lots to see and do.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff, excellent rooms and location was good to see all the Washington sites. Very nice atmosphere in the hotel.

Built in 1913, this historic hotel, located in the heart of Washington, D.C. Era molt millor del que ens esperàvem. Com que era dels més econòmics de la ciutat, no teníem moltes expectatives. Però realment ens va agradar molt: no massa lluny del Mall, habitació gran, llit molt còmode... Molt recomanable.

Situated in Washington, less than 1 km from Walter E Washington Convention Center and 2.6 km from The National Mall, Convention Center/Logan Circle Large Cozy House. Place felt like home. Great living space to socialise in. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely little touches of snacks & toiletries to use. Great choice of coffee & tea.
