This is an old, stone italian house, fully renovated and comfortable. We stayed one night during travel from Prague to Livorno. We paid 8 euro for dog, parking next to house was free. I think there are no shops and restaurants in a very close neighborhood, so you need to talk a bit longer walk or drive. I recommend asking the host for a breakfast that is delivered in a basket and you can it in your kitchenette or at shared tarase.

The place is on the top of the mountain - it's silent there, nature is all around, and the view is very good. But if you are staying for only one night, do not forget, that you have to climb up the mountain with a car for approximately 0,5 hour.

Both apartments were clean and warm and furnished with high quality wooden furniture. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathrooms were impeccable. The whole house is built in traditional style but has been recently renovated (with central heating). The house is very spacious and so are the apartments - much bigger than they appear on the photos. The location is very good - relatively close to the Merano2000 and would recommend for skiing season HQ. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit, there was no snow, but if there was, snow sleds for kids were available in the yard as well as the very inviting slopes all around the house. There is also a grill and a large table and because the surroundings are also great for hiking, I'm sure the Obkirchhof property would meet the needs of summer visitors as well.
