Hotel Platzl terletak di desa Auffach di lembah tinggi Wildschönau, hanya 120 meter dari kereta gantung ke resor ski Schatzberg. The sound isolation in the hotel was excellent, it was quiet in the room nevertheless there was an event on the ground floor. Thick curtains didn't let the daylight in the room so it was comfortable to sleep. The interior and furniture were tasteful. Quite spacious bathroom. Nice garden surrounding the hotel. Excellent and tasty breakfast, wide assortment of food, also warm buffet.

Breakfast and Buffet dinner was really good, they also had a late snacks till 5:00 PM whaich was really nice. The Buffet dinner and late evening snacks was for 22 Euros which was really affordble.

The owners are wonderful and helpful. The breakfast is perfect and has a wide variety for the smaller hotel. There is a lovely T-bar hill next door for some ski/snowboard runs and the ski bus is 10m from the front door. Dinner in the nearby hotels is easy to access and good quality. A very enjoyable stay!

Food was really good and well presented. We had a choice of three main courses each night and always a beautiful soup. Room was very spacious, with a lovely view of the snow covered mountains. Immaculately cleaned each day. The Spa facilities were perfect to use after a day skiing(pool, sauna and steam room). The bar had a really good atmosphere and the staff Andrea and Manu provided an excellent friendly service. The spacious ski/boot room was ideal to store our gear on an evening.

Great food and service at this family run hotel. Authentic Austrian homemade cuisine, the owner, Christian, is also the cook and makes a perfect Kaiserschmarrn. Clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Great entertainment with live music in the hotel bar at night. Central location in Niederau. Hiking/biking trails and lifts easily reachable by foot. A big thank you to the hosts and owners, Christian and his son Dominik, for an incredible stay! We will be back!
