I had the best stay at Abbott Hotel! Lovely and clean rooms in an absolutely perfect location. Super quick walk to everything - restaurants, bars, docks for boat trips, Daintree pick ups, etc. The highlight though was the staff, they were so incredibly kind and friendly. Special shout out to the manager, Peter, for making my time there so memorable. We would chat every time I passed the desk, and it made for such a lovely environment while I was solo traveling. I’m so grateful I chose to stay here and cannot recommend them enough! :)

The rooms are amazing- really big bed, big walk in rain shower, smart TV, very modern as a whole. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Esplanade and there’s lots of great restaurants around there and nearby. It’s a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. We really loved our stay here and wished it were longer! There’s also a small pool within the hotel.

We stayed over the Easter weekend & as we made a last minute booking the only availability was a Horizon club room with access to the Horizon lounge; a lovely large room with a balcony overlooking the Marina and the fabulous breakfast & evening canapés and drinks - we didn’t need to leave the hotel!
