Ubytovanie Hotel Laguna Terrace sa nachádza v destinácii Kavarna. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii terasu, bar a reštauráciu. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the manager (Danny) and the restaurant staff. Thankfully they spoke some English! The hotel is situated on a pedestrianised, tree-lined street, which was surprisingly quiet during our stay (14-19 June '23). The restaurant terrace overlooks tall green trees, with lots of birdsong, giving it a rural feel. We enjoyed the tranquillity of this hotel's location, though some may find the small town of Kavarna just too quiet and uneventful. For those seeking sea and sand, it's 5-minute drive from the local beaches, a good 25 minutes' walk (and uphill coming back). We took a taxi to Cape Kaliakra, definitely worth a visit (make sure you use sun screen and take a hat, as there's very little shade and it's quite windy). Kaliakra is too far to walk from Kavarna, especially as it's along a main road without pavements. Back to the hotel. Our room was spacious, light and comfortable. The beds were OK, though a little softer than we like. The hotel and restaurant were impeccably clean and tastefully decorated/furnished. We had several evening meals in the restaurant, as the food is good and fairly priced. Breakfast (included in our package) was tasty and filling - brilliant omelettes! Also, the home-made carrot cake is superb.

Family Hotel Venera is set in Kavarna, 45 km from Golden Sands and 65 km from Varna. Every room at this hotel is air conditioned and is equipped with a TV with cable channels. Everything was good, even better than expected. The hotel is family-run and well managed. The room was large and clean, with excellent air conditioning and very comfortable beds (I guess they have memory foam mattresses). Towels are changed every other day. The staff was very helpful and supportive. The location is within 5-7 min walk from the town beach and the few local restaurants, if you don't mind the 2 sets of stairs you need to go down and climb back again 2-3 times a day. Breakfast looked very good and diversified, though I didn't try it myself. Parking is freely available on the street. Very good quality for the price, for sure it's worth coming back here.

Situated in the village of Balgarevo, right next to a bus stop and 3 km from the beach on the Black Sea, Hotel Akre features air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant and a lobby bar. The staff were really friendly. The room was big, very clean and well prepared for the visitors. I enjoyed the breakfast - it was freshly made and tasty. Good place.

Set in Kavarna, Hotel & SPA Otdih features a fitness centre. This 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Everything, the hotel was quiet, in a good location, had all we needed, the room was clean and staff friendly.

Hotel Wesso is located a 5-minute walk from the centre of Kavarna and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. A bar and a mini-market are available on site. Modest, but very clean and nice place to stop. I especially appreciated the shower, the comfortable mattress and the private parking) The host was also lovely and helpful.

Located in a quiet area Ikantaluka, 50 metres away from the beach and between Balchik and Kavarna, Anelia Family Hotel offers free WiFi and free on-site parking. Breakfast good and plenty. Location near the beach and restaurants.
