Set in a historic building that was completely renovated in 2015, Hotel Krone Speicher is a 4-star hotel in the centre of Speicher in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. St. Everything was excellent - the room, restaurant, service itself. We booked in the very last minute before our stay, but it was our best place where we stayed in the Switzerland. Highly recomended.

Amazing mountain view from the room's window (family suite). Had a lovely evening walk in the area. Food is delicious - everything fresh and tasty. Very good beer and their cheese soup is to die for! Breakfast was plentiful - we had more than normal portions because of how good everything was! I slept really well - it was very quiet in the room and pitch dark. Comfy beds. Would come back!

Set in Schwagalp and with Säntis reachable within 1.7 km, Säntis - das Hotel offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Family & I absolutely loved our stay at the Säntis. Rooms were spacious and loved the surroundings, of the Mountain View and snow. They also had a lovely birthday message for my daughter. It was also great place to do the lantern walk. Staff were amazing & friendly. All in all, a memorable weekend.

The service is best in class - kudos to Petra for finding us a table when arriving late, and for the great service! The rooms are renovated and very comfortable.

Set 300 metres from the Gais Train Station and 6 km from Appenzell, Hotel Krone Gais features a traditional Swiss restaurant. it was cozy and warm, the people very welcoming, it was like being at home

In the centre of Herisau and a 6-minute train ride from Sankt Gallen, the 3-star superior Hotel Herisau was completely renovated in 2016 and provides a sauna, a fitness centre and a restaurant serving... The hotel, room and staff was really nice. We had a great dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was also very good. While the city is a bit dead, it brings you in range of some magnificent mountains. It was a perfect "pit-stop" for our trip through europe.
