This unique place has been built with great care and has everything you need and the most wonderful views . sitting on your private balcony you see incredible sunsets and hear a wonderful soundscape of wildlife . The owners are lovely with great advice about what to do in the area and the breakfasts are great too . highly recommended to get away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna.

Beautiful property and comfortable rooms. Horseback tour arranged by front desk was a trip highlight, and I was very happy with my in-room massage.

Set in a natural rain forest location, Agua Inn is 200 metres from Arenal Lake. It features a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. My family and I had a wonderful overnight stay in this boutique hotel, en route from the coast to Rio Celente, and then on to the Arenal hotsprings. What a gem of a hotel! It's like a little fairytale cottage in the middle of a tropical jungle. Intimate setting - about 4 rooms are booked at a time. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the hotel common area looks over the gorgeous pool and gardens. Israel, Trent, and Javier were excellent hosts. We didn't see airconditioning in the rooms (although there are nice big fans), but at this slightly cooler, elevated climate, conditioning wasn't needed. The little house parrot that flies around freely added unexpected entertainment. Very relaxing breakfast with visits from the hummingbirds. Just note that when driving to the hotel, it shows up about 1 turn earlier (just past the bridge) than it does on Google maps (as of Feb. 2022). However, there are clear signs along the main road to find the hotel. We'll definitely be back!

The owners Simon & Joanne were super fun & made us feel very welcome. Id highly this property.

Offering spectacular views of Lake Arenal and Arenal Volcano, Mystica has an outdoor pool, yoga platform and free WiFi in the restaurant and lobby. We loved the gardens, the remote location and visit of tucan birds in the morning.

The tropical garden at the bed and breakfast is delightful. We enjoyed Marita's wonderful breakfast as we gazed over beautiful foliage and bird-watched. The hosts gave excellent suggestions about area activities and provided a very helpful map. Watching the sunset from the nearby lake park was terrific.

We could not have asked for more. Carlos, our host, was super helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing, the place was clean, quiet, bed and pillows were comfortable, near facilities and we could park our motorcycles in a sheltered parking spot. Definitely strongly recommended.

The property is amazing, so you will have the most amazing views while you have your breakfast. Our room was very cute and clean. We did not realize that there would be a little kitchen in the suite, so that was a great surprise. It was super well equipped. We honestly wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so king. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the small lake on the property. There are also many bird feeders, so you get to watch the hummingbirds while you eat. There is a beautiful gallery as well with lots to see!
