She made every effort to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are charming and neat, washrooms were clean. The bed was comfortable with medium firmness. Linens were clean. Their towels were fairly new. No complaints with water pressure and hot water. Location was excellent with a great view of the river. It's just across the bridge from Porte Ste Michel and in the middle of the 2 major commercial areas. Will definitely stay here again.

Les Castets d'Ayré is located just a 5-minute walk from the Barèges village centre and 15 minutes by shuttle from the Domaine du Tourmalet Ski Resort. My family loved this hotel. The owners were so helpful with tips on hikes and activities in the area. They are also amazing cooks. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Honestly some of the best food we had on our 2 week trip in France. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This is a lovely place, so quiet, idyllic. The path to hike up to Viscos peak leaves from behind the house, you can see the peak way up from the restaurant's terrace. There are many options for things to do, easier hikes, villages, scenic spots to visit. The place has a nice vibe, uncomplicated, the staff are kind and helpful, it is clean and pretty, everywhere you look, you see nature and incredible views.
