Situated in Limeuil, 40 km from Bergerac Train Station, Les BALCONS de L'ESPERANCE features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and caring to this beautiful country inn right on the Dordogne River. Sitting on the patio looking out over the valley was a bit of heaven! The dining room was lovely. It was a fine base to visit nearby Sarlat La Canadia and to see other ancient buildings in the Dordogne area.

The Chartreuse du Bignac is surrounded by a 12-hectare park with a view of the vineyards, woods and orchards. It has an outdoor terrace and a swimming pool. Beautiful chateau in the French countryside- beautiful room, comfortable bed, great shower. Very kind staff! Excellent food.

This hotel is located in the medieval village of Monpazier. This 4-star hotel offers rooms overlooking the hills of the Périgord and Monpazier. The joy of staying is such a gorgeous chateau in such a remarkable and fascinating 12th Century village was wonderful but my lasting memory will be the delightful staff who showed an interest in us and took the time to interact with us even singing a special song for our 50th wedding anniversary. In the heart of the Périgord region, Hotel La Métairie - Les Collectionneurs is a 4-star boutique hotel dating from the 19th-century and surrounded by fields. The hotel exceeded all expectations. It was beautifully situated in the middle of nature, fully equipped with all possible facilities and with an excellent restaurant. The staff were discreet and efficient but very friendly. There was a restrained yet intimate atmosphere.

Specially picked this hotel as stayed there in Sept 22, staff are pleasant and hotels central to town , hotels clean and garden area with the pool is great , and breakfast is good , and has secure parking for my motorbike

Situated in Monpazier and within 45 km of Bergerac Train Station, hideauts hotels Le Chevalier bleu has a bar, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Hotel is beautiful, well design, the combinatio of old and new is great. Love the design. I had complimentary bottle of wine in the room and really sparkly bottle of water, which I enjoy.

Set in Bergerac and with Bergerac Train Station reachable within a few steps, Hôtel Bar Brasserie L'ESCALE offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the... Mika (I think his name is) gave me a really warm welcome. He carried all my bags for me to my room and brought me a beer as soon as I was settled. He also allowed me to park my motorbike right next to the front door (next to his scooter) so I knew it would be safe. I felt like royalty! As a lone female traveller I felt safe and secure here as well as very welcome. The place is in perfect quiet position and easy to walk into the pretty medieval centre. The bar and restaurant is really clean and cosy as was my room. Big thank you to Mika for his excellent service with a smile.

Relais des Vigiers is set in a 16th-century estate surrounded by countryside at the Dordogne-Gironde’s border. Location, facilities and cleanliness.

Grand Hôtel is located in the centre of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, just 100 metres from the Dordogne River and 20 km from Bergerac. The courtyard is wonderful! We had the room opening onto the courtyard, and it was perfect for relaxing away from the world. Secure parking, even payable, is always a plus. The staff were always available and helpful. Better than it’s 3 stars would suggest.
