Crail
Great location for quietness with charming harbour and small beach. Also good for travelling to other places of interest around Fife although a car will be required and lots of narrower secondary roads to travel on around the East Neuk area. Parking available for one car within property walls. Comfortable accommodation which felt very roomy with only two people (Ground Floor Garden Apartment). Well equipped kitchen with modern electric cooker and hob which heated very quickly. Beautiful views across the lawn out to sea.
We stayed one night and were in the process of walking the Fife Coastal Path, having started to the north of St Andrews. The Aberdour Hotel was a perfect place to stop, the facilities are good and the staff were warm and very friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was pretty good. The breakfast was also great and it really set us up for a day of walking. The Aberdour Hotel is also 5 minutes walk to both the railway station and bus stop, which could be very useful.
Super little apartment, ideal for our 2 night stay in Kirkcaldy. Stewart, the host, was very flexible in accommodating our check in/out request. Apartment was well equipped with a few little extras added which was a nice touch. Easy walking distance to town centre and Fife Coastal Path. The flat and surrounding area is very quiet so a good night’s sleep is guaranteed. Hope to stay again.
St Andrews
A very comfortable and welcoming small Hotel with well appointed rooms finished to a very high standard. The breakfast is cooked to order and one of the best I have had anywhere, likewise the evening meals are of a high standard and cooked to order. The Hotel is well situated in the pretty village of Kingsbarns and makes a good base for exploring St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife.
We only stayed one night here as a pit stop on our way around Fife after a long drive. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was pleasantly quirky, but a little bit dated in its decor. Our room was bigger than expected, with a large bathroom. It had all the facilities we could need, an up to date TV, kettle, shower etc.
Magical location above the beach with the Fife Coastal Trail nearby . The apartment was very comfortable with the living room and bedroom upstairs and the kitchen and dining room with windows looking out to the sea. There were a washer and dryer so we were able to do our laundry The owners were very accommodating.
The team at the Hotel were very welcoming and took the time to speak with all guests. The location overlooking the Firth of Forth was lovely and we did enjoy the mature gardens to the front of the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Burntisland is a good location for exploring the Kingdom of Fife
Very comfortable, well appointed 2 bedroom apartment with private parking adjacent in reasonably central location in Anstruther within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops. Also good location for travelling to various golf courses around Fife and St Andrews. Simple to gain access.
We were blown away with the service at the Upper Largo Hotel. The staff were so brilliant with my dog which was lovely. The food was exceptional and the location was ideal for us as we were hiking some of the Fife Coastal Path. Would 100% recommend to friends and family (I actually already have!)
Hotel was lovely. Room was really big and the views were stunning. Plenty of room. Also facilities were good. Bar and club at night were good. We got breakfaat in our room and portion size was really big. Excellent location for exploring Fife. We'll definitely be baxk
Saint Davids
Apartment had everything we needed. Well equiped kitchen and spacious comfy bedrooms. There were only 2 of us so really affordable for 2 bedroom accommodation. Location ideal for Fife Coastal path walking with local supermarkets and restaurants nearby - 5 min drive.
Ceres
Ceres is a very cute little village and well-positioned for touring Fife. Pleasant pub and local cafe, though service was very slow at breakfast. Shower was good. If the few things below particularly regarding cleanliness were addressed we would visit again.
Lovely clean hotel run by helpful and friendly staff. Good food and great selection at the bar. Great base for exploring the Kingdom of Fife. Thoroughly recommend the Caledonian Hotel, Leven, Fife, Scotland, United Kingdom.

Excellent location and exceptional high standard of cleanliness throughout the property and well equipped Views of the sea from the apartment an added bonus Well positioned base for exploring the Fife coast
Hotel in excellent position for the Fife Pilgrim Way, friendly reception staff, clean and comfortable hotel. Would also like to thank the breakfast staff for their unsung good work. Thank you all
