A family-run hotel, Clarence House offers panoramic views of the seaside town of Skegness. Our hosts made us feel at home. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean and had nice decor. The bathroom had a spacious shower with soap and shampoo dispensers. The breakfasts were tasty and filling and again the dining room was spotless. Coffee and Tea were topped up every day and this was a standout as everywhere I have been before you get it only on your arrival day. As for its location, you could not ask for better close to it all but still quiet at night.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking is good, either In front of the hotel or free 24 hours a day on the road opposite. Good location to the centre of town and sea front. Great pub and good Italian restaurant just down the same street, but noisy to the location of the hotel. The proprietor of the hotel, she is very nice and helpful. Last but not least, a great breakfast in the morning which is included in the room price. https://chantry-villa.lincolnshirehotel.co.uk/en/😁👌
Spilsby
This is a lovely hotel, very comfortable with great service. Christine was welcoming and attentive. The rooms were a great size. We stayed in rooms 4 & 5, which overlooked the garden area and were in a separate building. Our daughter stayed in room 1 in the main hotel. All the rooms were beautifully furnished and and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We had dinner on the first night and breakfast both mornings, no complaints. Highly recommend if you are visiting the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Breakfast, was great. Self service buffet with juice, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants. Plus a choice of cooked breakfasts to follow including a vegetarian breakfast. The dog particularly liked her Lincolnshire sausage and bowl of water while we enjoyed our breakfast. Coffee machine with the buffet, so hot and endless top-ups as required. Evening menu looked good but our son had made other plans for us. Popular spot with the locals and visitors.
Located in the middle of Louth, an historic market town on the edge of the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds. A warm welcome at reception, who showed us to our room. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated in a modern style. Breakfast was served in the pleasant bistro restaurant and although the choice wasn’t exceptional, the food was excellent, plentiful and pleasantly served.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Brackenborough Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. Excellent menu and the food was delicious, we ate in the restaurant every night of our stay. Breakfast had a good range of options. Location was ideal for exploring east Lincolnshire and the coast. Handy car charger so we could set off home with a full battery.
An interesting and quirky hotel which you must visit, even if only for one night. A great location for the Lincolnshire Wolds or a stroll into town. Paul, Benjamin and all of the staff are the best, extremely friendly and helpful while also supporting those locally who are in need. I’d also like to say many thanks again for Paul and Benjamin’s support when my wife was taken ill.
The William Cecil Hotel originally three separate 18th century houses which lie within the Burghley Estate reflecting the historic picturesque Lincolnshire market town of Stamford. A very warm welcome awaits you from the profession polite hotel personnel to the quirky chic country house all of the 27 rooms have eclectic themed décor with all the creature comforts required.
Having arrived in Lincolnshire at 9pm on a Friday to find our original accommodation had been cancelled, we tried to secure rooms in a local hotel. The hotel staff we very sympathetic an did everything to make our stay as easy an comfortable as possible. Rooms were clean and spacious and had all the usual IHG expectations. The hotel is very well located on the waterside.
Gainsborough
The food was lovely, Lincolnshire sausages, mash, peas, Yorkshire pud and lashings of hot rich gravy. Preceeded by a traditional prawn cocktail. What could be better ? The room was comfortable, in hotels most beds are ok, this one was really comfy and the pillows were great. Plenty of tea and coffee. The en-suite was fine a decent shower with good water pressure
The staff were all welcoming, polite and pleasant. Breakfast was wonderful. Having seen an online menu, my husband was looking forward to pancakes but they weren't on the menu when were there. However, the chef made him some specially. The room was spacious and clean. A great location for exploring the local area and the Lincolnshire Wolds.
The hotel is in a beautiful location - really peaceful with lovely woodland walks. Staff were very friendly and food was delicious. There's a lovely swimming pool and spa there but I didn't have time to use on this occasion. My room was spotlessly clean and of a good size. A great base for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Lovely hotel with historic charm and character located in a quiet and scenic market town in rural Lincolnshire. There is a free, private car park for guests and there are great road links in all directions. The superior double room was fantastic! Very clean and comfortable and would love to stay here again in the future.
Lincoln
Lovely quite location, yet only 8 miles too Lincoln City, we visited the Lincolnshire Life Museum which was free and excellent, and visited the beautiful cathedral. So peaceful at night and lovely and warm, and comfy, bed was exceptional and very clean, could recommend this studio apartment to anyone.
Sleaford
The property was clean, the owners were welcoming, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful and obliging. Overall this was an excellent venue for us to see this area of Lincolnshire. The staff were very helpful re car parking at the rear of the hotel.
This is very pleasant, well run hotel, the restaurant facilities are relaxed and the food is excellent! Breakfast can be light or sufficient enough to see you through until tea time. I would recommend The Bacchus to anyone looking for a traditional seaside break in Lincolnshire.
I chose the hotel due to its links with 617 squadron. It certainly didn't disappoint. The room was spacious and the facilities fine. The breakfast was excellent (though I do wonder why it serves Cumberland sausage rather than Lincolnshire.
A comfortable hotel with great staff and a lot of character. The Bull has it's own car park and a great location giving good access to the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. All this and great value too.
Chapel Saint Leonards
Apartment was well located for a short break on the Lincolnshire coast. Relatively quiet. Good shower in bathroom. Basic equipment available in kitchen.
Beautiful apartment and the bed is fantastic. It is located close to one of the best real ale pubs in Lincolnshire.
This is our favourite Boston hotel when visiting family in Lincolnshire.
