Delightful stay in this lovely cosy, family-run hotel in beautiful Glengarriff - a place which has always been special to me. The staff were very professional, welcoming and friendly and made our stay really special and un-fussed. Very comfortable room, nice restaurant with excellent food, so we didn't have to go out under the rain in the evenings. Full breakfast served with a great variety of options on the menu. Only 2 minutes walk from some spectacular and leisurely strolls down to the shore, to watch seals, otters and gorgeous waterfalls. Definitely the gateway to a wonderful holiday for young and old, sporty or sedentary :-)

The room is cute and comfortable. The shower was really nice (especially compared to the hostel we stayed at the night before).

Cottage Heights, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Castletownbere, 5 km from Dunboy Castle, 5.1 km from Puxley Mansion, as well as 8.2 km from Hungry Hill. We had one of the sea view rooms and the view was spectacular. Mary was very friendly and helpful giving us tips for places to visit and eat out as well as a great recommendation for a local bar. The breakfast was very nice and we very much enjoyed our stay.
