This environmentally friendly hotel is in the center of Carrick-on-Shannon and is over 200 years old. It has free Wi-Fi, free parking and modern en suite rooms. Lovely staff, room, well appointed. As it's an old classic hotel it has some narrow hallways and other charming features. The dining room is fresh and bright. Hot breakfast choices were varied, along with fresh fruit salad, kiwis, scones. Etc

Leanna's Lodge, Keshcarrigan enjoys a location in Leitrim, 6.3 miles from Sliabh an Iarainn Visitor Centre and 8.9 miles from Leitrim Design House. Food in pub was excellent. The room was new modern and spotless. The breakfast was excellent.

Featuring a garden and a sun terrace, Hartley House B&B is located in Carrick-on-Shannon. The bed and breakfast provides a shared lounge. At the bed and breakfast, rooms have a wardrobe. My wife and I stayed for two nights. Hartley House is in a picturesque location a few minutes outside of town. You wont be woken up by traffic noises…maybe a cow mooing or a horse neighing. Beautiful 18th century home that has been tastefully restored and decorated. Kate is a gem and presents an incredible breakfast spread.

From the friendly management and staff, to the very comfortably appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts, The Brandtwell did not disappoint in any way. A bit more about the breakfasts: the breakfasts were included in our reservation and we were able to choose from the ala carte menu. Breakfasts were specially prepared for us and they were without doubt some of the best breakfasts we have had recently. We felt that we were treated as individuals by friendly staff rather then being mass processed in a large hotel breakfast room.
