The stuff is really nice. We had breakfast there and it was a good choice as it was mostly made from local produce. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The rooms are spacious qnd clean with comfortable beds and we slept like babies. It is in the quiet part of the village, the garden is nice and there is enough space to park. It has a big terrace on the first floor, large enough to make a party, and there is also a place to sit in the garden. Hot water, toiletries, well equipped kitchen... The owners are wonderful people, they treated us with coffee, grapes, rakija, snacks. I would recommend this place to people who come to climb the via ferrata routes, it is very near the White Wolf club and the climbing area. It is also good for groups, beacause they have enough rooms (as I saw around 12 people can stay). All in all, my warmest 10!

The breakfast was delicious, had a great variety and was perfect for starting the day. There is also a restaurant on the premises that offers a la carte menu. We arrived at dinner time and had a large selection of dishes to choose from - all fresh and very tasty.

This is the third time I have been a guest at Casa Andra and I am always very satisfied with my stay there. Very quiet place, you can have a full rest. There is a refrigerated display case with drinks. I recommend for bikers, safe place to park and close to Transalpina.

Open in 2006 and offering a cafe and a restaurant with a terrace, enjoying views of the mountains, Pensiunea Tobo is set in Baia de Fier, right next to the Muierii Cave and 14 km from the Transalpina,... Great location right across the street from Women’s Cave, very clean and nicely furnished rooms, comfortable beds. The food was really good and great prices. Next to the restaurant there is a kids playground so you can enjoy a coffee or beer right next to tour kids playing. Host and staff were very kind and professional.

Offering a large, 20.000 squares metre outdoor space with a private park, Conacul Bunicilor is located in Baia de Fier. Free WiFi access is available. This was a perfect place for us to stay the evening before driving the Transalpina Road. The property is absolutely beautiful, the owners and their staff are awesome, and our room was extremely comfortable. We had the most delicious dinner and breakfast in their restaurant. We highly recommend as Conacul Bunicilor as a perfect place to stay when in the area.

Offering a restaurant, Vila Nico is located in Baia de Fier, 7 km from the Polovragi Cave and 50 metres from the Muierilor Cave. Free Wi-Fi access is available. All the staff were super friendly and ready to help with anything. The location is great, right at the entrance to the cave. Also, a lot of via ferrata tracks are starting behind the villa. Big parking in front of the property. The room was ok and very clean, but nothing spectacular. Definitely would recommend.
