Haika Home Lodge has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Dar es Salaam. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service. Each room comes with a patio. The staff was extremely friendly and did make you feel like you were at someone's home. Me, the staff, and some guests ended up staying for almost two hours after dinner just talking. Dinner was also traditional East African food at a good price. The rooms were comfortable, the AC worked, good water pressure, and great wifi. Everything you could want from a homestay lodge. I had an early morning flight and they had even gave me a to-go bag with breakfast.
