One of the best places I ever visited in my life. Italian style hotel in the middle of Zanzibar. I was pretty scared due to low amount of Comments , but place really exceed my expectations. Location was top... straight on the beach. We loved having breakfast and dinner with the seaview. The owners were very helpful and looked after the guests very well. Stone Resort was a most relaxing place. The food is excellent, especially the seafood platter was so tasty . We also loved the massage on site (20$ for one hour). The sea line was close and the tides did not seem to have much impact. The water is very clear and on the beach you have many tours offered for snorkeling or dolphin watching

This place is absolutely stunning and we already plan to come back! :) We booked 4 nights and then extended for 4 more as we really liked the resort. Amazing food 3 times a day (all you can eat buffet), live music every day!! plus local dance shows and masai performances, beautiful beach with the finest white sand, very kind and helpful staff members, nice architecture and decorations in the hotel. We were bit afraid of the low tide in Zanzibar when we read about it, but you can swim all day long except maybe 2 hours during lunch time, so it was absolutely ok. We did also some nice trips with the local people selling their services on the beach, they are little bit pushy but we always had a great time and never regreted, plus you support local people directly and not just the resort. The beach is very clean, there is just grass from the sea, some days more some days less. We have been to many exotic countries all around the world so we can compare the resorts and we were really surprised that we haven't seen a single piece of plastic or garbage on the beach during our 8 days here, wow!
