Pillows could have been softer and fluffier

The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. The rooms are spacious and clean. Whilst the actual bed was very comfortable, the pillows could have been fluffier, as they felt quite hard as you slept on them. The shower was brilliant, plenty of power and hot water. The location was perfect for us as it was very near to family we were visiting, but is quite a distance from the centre of Brighton.

Ideal location on Hove promenade. Free parking at the hotel. Very good breakfast and friendly, efficient staff. Large bedroom with clean bathroom and comfy double bed.

Sometimes they were very slow taking my breakfast order. It was very noisy and could hear the toilet flush in adjoining rooms

Parking was a problem. There are only two disabled bays at the front of the hotel. We had to park in the street which made it difficult to carry luggage etc.

The staff were so helpful and kind. We booked late after having to leave another property as it was disgusting. The staff at the hotel helped us get the perfect rooms for us. They also let me park my car on the front of the property whilst we were at a wedding the following day even though we had checked out already.

If I have to make a comment then yes the room was a bit dated and could do with a refresh but I’d rather have the existing room at the existing price than pay more for new furnishings and fresh decor! Any negatives are outweighed by the location, friendly staff and access to local amenities.

Excellent location far away enough from the Brighton crowds to have some peace and tranquility but near enough to allow easy access to restaurants and shopping. Directly opposite the beach with superb sea views. Also easy access from motorway for drivers.

The Bathroom should be modernised. Walk in shower or at least a hand held shower hose.

Breakfast lovely and hotel is great. Only issue we had was requesting some food /snacks after a long journey but this wasn’t possible as after 2pm. It would help to have more flexibility on this. Some people don’t feel able or want to go shopping after a long trip which is what was recommended.

The facilities could do with upgrading (but then the price would go up.) the bathtub is difficult to climb into.

The guest in the room adjacent TV could be heard and they had it on until the small hours.

Good location for Hove and near leisure centre so I could use the pool. Best thing was being able to park at the hotel. Breakfast was nice what you would expect and staff were friendly.

Didn’t like the bath, too high and narrow. Car parking was limited and difficult to get in and out of.

Shower leaked and made bathroom floor very wet and slippery. Room was very hot due to radiator being at max. Window didn't open very far so didn't get much fresh air.

The lift takes forever!

Our room was upgraded to the top floor which has comfortable spacious rooms with sea-view balconies. This was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is small, but ticks a lot of boxes - certainly well located, friendly staff, altogether good experience.
