  • “Very nice room and lovely communal areas. Excellent service from the team who worked very hard but also very professional and diplomatic with difficult guests. Simba in the bag area was so delightful he really engaged well with guests old and young. There was a chap in the bar (sorry I can’t remember his name) went above and beyond his job role to help guests who were looking for help. Breakfast team had their work cut out as there were so many families but took time to rearrange tables into larger groups and got children settled and fed quickly! Absolutely amazing selection and quality of food at breakfast. Loved the fact that there were plant based options for Vegan guests which were easy to find and of excellent quality.”

  • The Burlington Hotel Review score: 8

“Location is fantastic, we had a sea view room which had great views of the pier and sea. Staff were all very polite and friendly. Parking was handy right behind the hotel (you just pay at reception). Food in the bar was good and the entertainment was an unexpected bonus!”

  • “The staff member at the front desk was very polite and helpful (not sure of his name, Welsh guy), the room was a fair size for what we paid and the bed was comfy, liked that there were tea and coffee facilities in the room. Location was excellent, right in front of the sea life and pier. Got lucky and managed to find a parking space a few minutes walk away using the £8 permit we bought from reception. Not exactly the Ritz, but perfect for a couple of nights if you're staying in Brighton and just need somewhere to lay your head at night. Ear plugs were provided but we didn't hear much outside noise (maybe because we came in at 1am).”

  • The Queensbury Hotel Review score: 8

“We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach, shops and pubs. The beds were comfy and the staff were friendly. We didn’t have any trouble with noise. The room was very warm but a fan was provided. The continental breakfast was plentiful and tea, coffee and shampoo were provided in the room.”

  • Claverton Hotel Review score: 8

“Elegant room - beautiful garden - very peaceful together with woodpecker and bunnies on the lawn in the evening! Friendly staff. Food excellent - breakfast and evening meal. Comfy bed. Close to Hastings and coast. Would stay again.”

  • Devonshire Park Hotel Review score: 10

“I loved the location, so close to the beach, in a lovely area of town, very bright and not too busy, easy to walk to from the station. A beautiful building, inside and out. I loved the quirky lounge areas, one with a grand piano and one with retro board games from my youth, a record player and some lovely old books. I spent my morning there drinking my coffee and bathing in the sunshine from the large bay window, truly glorious. The breakfast was perfect 👌 and the staff all polite and friendly. I felt so calm and looked after there and definitely want to go back .”
