How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not very sound proof, can hear the trains horns every hour from 3am onwards, have to pay for parking also

Pool was not open from dawn to dusk as mentioned, so could not access it in the morning.
Great location in terms of proximity to airport. Well priced. Good breakfast.

No restaurants if you don’t have a car. We did find a single small casual Latino restaurant within walking distance. No food at the hotel beyond breakfast.
Close to airport. Adequately clean. Good breakfast included. Free shuttle to airport

When i first arrived, based on the outside appearance, I didn’t know what to expect. To my surprise the hotel gave a very homey, comforting feel. My room was nice and cosy and I really appreciated the free laundry room and free breakfast, it surely added to the at home feel. I would definately stay here again.

The AC unit was so loud that it was impossible to sleep in the same room with it. Also, one room got really cold thanks to it, while the other room was too hot. There wasn't linen for the pullout couch which we discovered right before bedtime. When we called to get an extra set of sheets the receptionist asked us to go to the front desk, instead of bringing them to our room, even when we explained we were already in our sleeping clothes. The staff was generally helpful but lacked human touch. For example, no one ever greeted us, not when we first arrived, nor in the morning, not even a simple "hello".
It fulfilled our main requirement of being really close to the airport, we also loved the fact that there's a shuttle bus that takes you straight from the hotel to the airport every 30 minutes. Our room was really good for 5 people because there were two separate rooms and a kitchen, and that gave plenty of space for everyone. It was also good that sink was separated from the toilet and shower. Breakfast was perfect.

The location is very industrial, no places to walk, no restaurants or shopping within walking distance. Did not feel safe walking outside of a block of the hotel.
The hotel and room were wonderful. Friendly service. Free airport shuttle. Breakfast and cocktail time were a wonderful perk.

Called for an early check-in list, was told I'd be put on it. When I got there one I wasn't on it. Then my reservation were separate. 2 separate transactions. First room I was given wasn't even cleaned yet.

I didn't like that you had to pay 25$ for parking plus tax added . Could of pay less.

Two lights in the kitchen area were not working and the catch on the bedroom door had been broken for a long time so the door had to be propped closed with a chair to reduce the noise in the bedroom from the refrigerator in the kitchen. The aircon/heating is also in the bedroom and ended up being switched off because of the noise it generated when working.
The hotel shuttle from the airport was efficient, the room was comfortable for an overnight stay. There was plenty of ground coffee provided for the coffee maker. The breakfast being included is a plus, and the selection at breakfast was good.

Staff were unusual and not friendly !--you have to ask?
Conveniently close to the airport--and free airport shuttle--large suite--happy hour nibbles and drinks was a nice suprise--

They didn't have any high chair for kids in the entire hotel (!) So apparently families with small children are not really welcome I guess. Hotel breakfast was a huge disappointment as they only offered ham, Philadelphia or Nutella to put on your sandwich and served it on disposable plates and cups ... mind-blowing in 2024. Layout of restaurant made it hard to pass through during breakfast as tables and chairs lined up with huge flower plants with corners sticking out, at a perfect height to attack your knees.

The entrance is a little bit messy because you have to enter by a side of the building and they should get back to the principal entrance to receive the guests at the front desk.
The people were nice to me and the bed was good. I had the opportunity to visit the gym and it was good too. I hope to stay more nights on the next visit.
