We had a great stay of 3 nights at the Hanoi Salute Hotel & Spa in the Old Quarter. Every staff member we met was delightful and super helpful, and they did their best to ensure we felt at home, from the moment we stepped into the hotel. They also helped us with Ha Long Bay cruise booking which made things so much easier. The room is neat and well designed, and the bed is very comfortable. First of all the location is very good: in the old town close to the Hoan Kiem Lake. We found the staff extremely nice, caring and interested. They organised excursions to Lan Ha Bay and to Ha Giang for us. In total we stayed for 5 nights. The breakfast and the rooftop bar (with happy hour) are excellent.

The staff was amazing, we felt like royalty during our stay, they cared about every detail, from the first minute we arrived we were greeted with a Welcome drink and sweets. The receptionist was very kind, she took the time to explain every single detail about things we needed to know about Hanoi and the hotel. The breakfast was a mix of large variety of tradicional dishes and Vietnamese cuisine with plenty of different fruits and juices, They had Vietnamese coffee and the Pudding was incredible. Our room was always cleaned, with complementary water and fruits. I Will definitely go back to this hotel when I go back to Hanoi.
