Excellent location for visiting Hartz Mountain National Park. This is a beautiful old hotel well furnished and decorated. We enjoyed dinner both nights in the bar restaurant and the free continental breakfast is amazing, superior to what one might expect. I was happy they had not only gluten free bread available but also several gf cereals. The breakfast room looks out on a beautiful view of the water.

The Bears Went Over The Mountain offers boutique hotel accommodation in Geeveston's town centre. Each room includes a TV and a private en suite bathroom. We loved the antique, yet comfy bed, the large bath tub, the wood fire & the delicious breakfast that the lovely owner made for us. She also provided informative information on the platypus who live in the local creek. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait for Mr Platypus, so I bought a post card of a platypus photo! Well done to the owner of Bears Went over the Mountain! We were in room 2 on 26.11.22.

Situated in National Park in the Tasmania region, Russell Falls Holiday Cottages has a patio. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. This is the closest you can stay to the national park - actual walking distance to the start of many of the hikes. The staff was helpful and kind. The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and we even received a very tasty tea and hot chocolate corner.

Just the location of the cabin itself was wonderful. It was a peaceful neighbourhood. Loved that place. Would definitely recommend and will go back some time again in future for sure.
